A Gentle On-Ramp

Pronomian Starter

You do not have to do everything at once. Start with one thing. Grow from there. The yoke of the Messiah is easy, and his burden is light.

The first commandment written with God's own finger. The sign of the covenant. The appointed time He has kept from creation.

Scripture

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."

"If you turn your foot from the Sabbath… then you will take delight in the LORD."

"The Sabbath was made for man."

How to Begin
  • ✦Sabbath begins at sundown Friday and ends at sundown Saturday (Genesis 1 pattern).
  • ✦Prepare food and household matters before sundown Friday so Shabbat itself is rest.
  • ✦Light candles at sundown, bless your household, share a meal, read the weekly Torah portion.
  • ✦Avoid work (paid labor) and commerce. Rest is worship — not legalism.
  • ✦This is not about burden. It is about entering the rhythm God Himself modeled.
